TNYWeekly Contest #998 News
First TNYCCC for Liza Donnelly!
🟢 Cartoonist Information 🟢
👍🏽 This is Liza Donnelly's 1st cartoon in TNYCCC.
⭐️ Liza Donnelly's first Contest: Contest #998 • July 20, 2026.
Although this is Liza's first Contest cartoon she is a long time TNY cartoonist with numerous cartoons. She's accomplished in so many comic artist areas and last year completed her film 'Women Laughing.'
We were THRILLED to see the World debut of 'Women Laughing' at the 2025 Woodstock Film Festival. A fantastic, funny, and informative film. Thoroughly enjoyed seeing Liza at the film festival in the beautiful Hudson Valley town Woodstock. See second image in the Specials. We planned the film festival with a leaf peeping trip to Hudson Valley.
🟢 Contest Information 🟢
We're two Contests away from an amazing 1000 Contests. The first Contest, cartoon by Mike Twohy, winner was announced in the May 23, 2005 print issue. The winner was Roy Futterman, New York City.
Testing the new HumorOramaLOL feature to find similar cartoon objects and we surprisingly discovered that this is the first TNYCCC with a kayak. And, it's the first TNYCCC for Liza.
HumorOramaLOL is debuting a really, really cool feature to help you find these Contests with similar cartoon objects? Anyone remember "Tangential Contests" but, this is TCv2. How should we describe it: superduper Tangential Contests.
Stay tuned for upcoming information on the new TCv2 (← temporary name!)
🟢 Contestant Information 🟢
