🟢 Contest Information 🟢
We're seven Contests away from an amazing 1000 Contests. The first Contest, cartoon by Mike Twohy, winner was announced in the May 23, 2005 print issue. The winner was Roy Futterman, New York City.
There are three previous Contests with turtles. Contest #341 has a flying turtle. Contest #422 is a hoarder turtle. Contest #762 is a turtle with lab mice. But, there is one snail Contest #942, that might be worth a look. It has a similar shell theme.
Oh, did we mention that HumorOramaLOL is debuting a really, really cool feature to help you find these Contests with similar cartoon objects? Anyone remember "Tangential Contests" but, this is TCv2. How should we describe it: superduper Tangential Contests.
Stay tuned for upcoming information on the new TCv2 (← temporary name!)
🟢 Contestant Information 🟢
Contest #993
All three contestants are first-time Finalists.
Carol Lasky, Boston, Mass. is a nine-time Finalist. A prolific cartoon gag writer, Carol, has tremendous accomplishments in many contests.
See "Field Notes Archive" section at top of HumorOramaLOL for the post on "Repeaters."
